Information you choose to provide
We may receive information you submit through a contact form or email, such as your name, email address, subject, and message. Do not send medical records, account passwords, financial details, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the site.
Information collected automatically
The site and its service providers may process technical and usage information, such as browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, consent choices, security events, and interactions with links. Web hosting systems may also maintain server and security logs.
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Site Kit
HIVMingle intends to use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website use, Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage measurement tags and events, and Site Kit by Google to connect selected Google services to WordPress. We plan to use GTM as the primary code-deployment method and avoid installing the same Analytics tag more than once.
GA4 may receive page views, device and browser information, approximate location, traffic source, and events such as clicks on outbound affiliate links. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Analytics retention and consent settings are controlled by the site operator and should be configured to match the published policy.
Affiliate referrals
When you click a PositiveSingles or other partner link, you leave HIVMingle. The destination service may receive referral information indicating that the visit came from HIVMingle. If you register or purchase a membership, the partner or its affiliate system may attribute the action to our referral. Information collected after you leave HIVMingle is governed by the third party’s own privacy policy and terms.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and scripts for essential functions, security, consent choices, analytics, and affiliate attribution. Non-essential measurement should be controlled through the site’s consent process where required. See the Cookie Policy for additional information.

How information may be shared
Information may be processed by service providers supporting website hosting, security, backups, content delivery, analytics, tag management, consent management, email, and contact forms. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate security concerns, or protect rights and safety.
HIVMingle does not ask visitors to create dating profiles or submit health information on this site. PositiveSingles and other destination services operate separately and receive information under their own policies.
International processing
HIVMingle is available to visitors in multiple countries. Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where a visitor lives. Where required, appropriate contractual or other transfer safeguards should be used.
Data retention
Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, or address a dispute. Server and security logs follow the hosting provider’s configured retention. GA4 user-level and event-level retention is set to 14 months, subject to aggregate reporting and Google’s service rules. Consent choices are refreshed at least every 12 months. Consent records may be retained while the choice is relied upon and for up to 24 months after it is withdrawn, replaced, or expires, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve a dispute.
Your choices
- Use the consent settings to accept, reject, or change choices for non-essential measurement where the feature is available.
- Use browser controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking some essential storage may affect site functions.
- Do not submit optional contact information if you do not want us to receive it.
- You may leave the site without following an affiliate link.
Privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To submit a request, contact privacy@hivmingle.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain information when permitted or required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to reduce risk. No website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Links to other sites
This policy applies to HIVMingle. It does not apply to PositiveSingles or other websites reached through external links. Review the privacy policy of the destination before submitting information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when services, laws, or practices change. The effective date at the top should be revised when a material update is published.
