Accessibility

Last reviewed: August 4, 2026

HIVMingle wants its content to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification, voice input, or other assistive technology.

Our accessibility goals

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as a reference for ongoing improvements. This statement is a commitment to improvement, not a claim that every page or third-party service fully conforms to a particular level.

Current design practices

  • Semantic headings and readable content structure.
  • Keyboard-visible focus styles.
  • A skip link for keyboard navigation.
  • Responsive layouts for smaller screens and text enlargement.
  • Color contrast checks for important text and controls.
  • Reduced-motion support where animation is used.
  • Descriptive link text and alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Touch targets designed to be easier to activate.

Known limitations

Some third-party content, destination services, imported articles, or plugins may not provide the same level of accessibility as the HIVMingle theme. We plan to review new components and correct material issues when they are identified.

Need help or found a problem?

Send the page URL, a description of the issue, the device or assistive technology used, and any useful screenshot through the Contact page. Please do not include medical records or other highly sensitive information.

Third-party services

PositiveSingles and other external sites are operated separately. Accessibility questions about a destination service should be directed to that service.
